While You're Here...THINGS TO DO
In addition to your Personal Color Analysis, make it a relaxing or adventurous day or getaway in Midway and the Heber Valley.
Grab a Bite to Eat
Midway and nearby Heber and Sundance all offer a variety of eating establishments to suit every taste deliciously, with options to dine quickly, organically, ethnically, or extraordinarily for a special occasion.
Take a Walk, Ski, Snowshoe or Hit the Mountains on Your Bike or ATV
There are trails (and horseback riding) along Deer Creek, at Dutch Fields, or up the "Wow Trail". Soldier Hollow, site of the 2002 Winter Olympics
Cross-Country Skiing competition is nearby and rentals for bikes, e-bikes and ATV's are plentiful.
Cultural Activities
Depending when you come, you can stay for a musical, play or comedy night; visit Swiss Days, hear Cowboy Poetry, view Plein-Air painting competitions; attend the rodeo, World-Cup ski championships or Sheepdog trials; or visit a museum.
Take the Scenic Route
Just getting here is a pleasure, whether you come up from Provo through the canyon with its waterfalls and evergreen woods and past the reservoir, or up through Parley's Canyon past Park City and along the Jordanelle Reservoir into the Heber Valley with its views of
Mt. Timpanogos and the surrounding Wasatch mountains.
Ride the Heber Creeper
Take a beautiful ride on an old-time train past Deer Creek Reservoir and into the Provo Canyon down to Vivian Park. There are also themed rides throughout the year and a snack bar for your trip.
Go Scuba Diving or Wind Surfing and see a Sandhill Crane
Deer Creek Reservoir is a popular wind-surfing destination and there's also scuba diving at a local hotpot at the Homestead Resort. Wildlife abounds here as well- it is a nesting area for Sandhill cranes, and we have pelicans, swans, beaver, moose, marmots, and wild turkey just for starters!
